TLCC Hiking & Nature Trails

A lesser-known, sometimes overlooked, area of The Loose Caboose Campground (but quickly growing in popularity) is our beautiful 13 acres of Hiking and Nature Trails. This small, private land preserve constitutes half of the entire property that belongs to the Campground.

Nature and wildlife abound in this area of the property. It is very quiet and peaceful. Whether you are looking to get a little exercise walking your dogs, do a little bird watching or hoping to spot some native Pennsylvania wildlife, this is the perfect place to “get back to nature”. There’s a nice primitive group tenting area in one area of the woods and an extremely private primitive single tent campsite (#A) in the opposite corner of the property. Both camping areas have their own picnic tables and fire pits for campfires and cookouts.
